She felt continually frustrated that no one could explain why the products were irritating. Necessity is the mother of invention, and Paula realized that working with professional hairdressers, she could help millions of other people also wanting high performance products that were gentle.

Michigan College of Beauty, one of the first Pivot Point member schools, was founded in 1965 by Mr. Armand Dagenais. Mr. Armand, a hairstylist and salon owner, dedicated himself to providing the best training possible for individuals entering the beauty industry.
Michigan College of Beauty is licensed by State of Michigan Board of Cosmetology. Our free standing main building was built in 1988, has 11,000 square feet of space, and is designed and equipped for Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Esthetics training. Additional 7,000 square feet of classroom space, located ¼ mile from the main building, was constructed in 2001. Both facilities are handicap accessible.
Salon Thalia offers various services such as: kerastase, hair treatments and chemical processes, Kerastase pre-chemical treatment, makeup services, nail treatments, massages, waxing and bridal or formal styling, as well as individual spa services.
Stylists are highly qualified individuals. Christopher Jon Salon reputation was founded on the cutting technique. The staff was chosen for artistic creativity and the ability to relate to the clients needs. Stylists take your personal preferences and blend them with your facial structure, hair texture and lifestyle. Cuts are designed for easy maintenance. Because your hair grows about one-half inch each month, it should be cut every four to six weeks to keep its good looks.
