Greenville Mall was originally built as a strip center named Pitt Plaza. The center was enclosed in the 1980s as a response to construction of Carolina East Mall and named The Plaza. It was subsequently renamed Colonial Mall Greenville when purchased by Colonial Properties Trust. The purchase of the mall by GG&A in 2007 resulted in the name being changed to Greenville Mall. Four Seasons Town Centre is a three-story shopping mall in Greensboro, North Carolina. Currently anchored by Belk, Dillard's and JCPenney; it was the first enclosed shopping mall in Greensboro. CoolSprings Galleria is an enclosed regional shopping mall in the Cool Springs commercial and residential corridor between Franklin and Brentwood, Tennessee, 15 miles (24 km) south of Nashville. The mall opened in 1991, and has 5 department stores and over 165 stores on two floors totaling 1,117,689 square feet, including the 500-seat Oasis Food Court. Opened in 1983, Foothills Mall is the only shopping mall in burgeoning suburban Blount County, part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The mall was originally anchored by Maryville based Proffitt's, a regional department store; Miller's, another regional department store that was a division of Allied Stores; JC Penney; and Sears.
